This last week has been just that. An adventure. Casey finally got some time off work and we had been talking about taking the kids to see the mountains in BC for some time now, and the day Casey found out that he could have a week off work, we left the next day.
I guess it all started on July 31st. Casey came home that evening and said "Wanna go to BC" My reply "YES" He's got the time off, lets go. So Aug 1st we went to Assiniboia to pick up Sara (she had stayed for the week at Grandma & Grandpa's). On the 2nd, we loaded the van with our clothes (planning on doing one day of laundry), tents (yes we slept in tents the whole week), blankets, activities, and a whole lot of excitement.
This trip was started with no plans. We had no destination requirements for anyday, and we had no set activities that needed to be accomplished. OK, we did know that The Enchanted Forest was the one thing we knew to do. So knowing that, Revelstoke was a preplanned place to see that.
As soon as I find my camera, I will be entering a bunch of posts. Probably by days, with pictures. Cant wait to share this adventure with you all.

Wow, that seems like such a fun way to approach a holiday - with no obligations whatsoever... Can't wait to read all about it!! :o)
