Day 3 - Mon. Aug. 4

Waking up in Canyon Hot Springs. Yes you can smile after sleeping in a tent. Thanks to Mom & Bill for lending us the blow up air mattress, it was GREAT!! Loading up the van topper with the tent, sleeping bags, and blankets. Then we were off to do more swimming in the hot springs pools. Man, I didn't take one picture of that. Hummm. Good thing I have the pamphlet.

On the road again we find the Giant Cedar Trail Walk. Beautiful big, old trees.

Then we found a train museum. It was cool too. You really got to get hands on with the trains. Climbing in & out of them. They even had a train simulator. Insert your quarter and you could drive this train, while looking at the projector screen with were you are going. All three kids had a great time with this. Blowing the horn, turning, slowing down, speeding up. ((They whole time we were there I was thinking about our friends little guy William, He loves trains))
Farther down the road we found a suspended bridge across some waterfalls. So beautiful. I was a little nervous at first crossing that bridge, but it wasnt a really swayey bridge. Very secure. I liked it. We enjoyed an ice cream cone afterwards at the gift shop. Jada loved the statues of the bears. She hugged every one of them.

Tonight we found our "home" tenting site. It was called Noah's Ark. The site was great, the people were great. It was central to all the other adventures we did, and we stayed here for three nights. I will post some pictures with the next post.
