What a chilly wake up in Canmore. Wish we would have worn those tuks that we packed.
Packed up again, we head further into the mountains. We finally crossed over into BC. Along the side of the highway at one of the rest stops there was the cute little cave along the side of the river.
Another stop, we found this cute little bridge running over a stream. Boy was it cold. The kids took there socks and shoes off and braved it though. They treaded threw the stream marveling at the beautiful rocks.
Along the way we found this pamphlete for a petting farm. Sounds good. We need a break. BEST petting farm we ever went to. It is filled with unusually animals that are having a hard time staying around and are in danger of becoming endangered.

We were greeted by "Simon" the runt pot belly pig. He is so cute and friendly. The kids fall in love with him. He follows the owners all over the farm. Some highlites: being kissed by an alpaca (they have such soft noses), a donkey named "Sara" who followed us all over rubbing against my leg, "rock star" chickens (really they are polish chickens, and the kids can catch them all on their own b/c the chickens cant see what is coming behind them, heehee), one week old bunnies, peacocks, mamma pot belly pig and her 13 babies and the most wonderul people running this business.
OH and Jada was VERY excited about going threw the tunnels.
We made it to Canyon Hot Springs this night. Got the last tenting site available. Of course it was right close to the highway, with all the noisey traffic. We did take a quick dip in the pool. A bit of a rougher sleep this night. Though it didn't affect Jada what so ever. We wore our tuks (how do you really spell this word?? anyone??)
