Fair

Sara on one of the "boring" rides as she said. Its the one that goes up and then drops really fast. Eric starting off on an easy ride.
We went to the fair this year. Kids all got bracelets so they could ride, ride, ride. It was a cooler day so jackets were needed. But the day still was great. Eric and Sara were finally both tall enough to go on EVERY ride, and they did go on every ride. The two older kids are thrill seekers. They must get this from Casey. Jada, however, is cautious like me. Here's just a few pictures of the day. (I followed Jada around and Casey followed Eric and Sara, so most pictures are from Jada since I had the camera.) Casey did join the kids on most of the rides as well, or until his tummy was so sick he needed a break.

Eric and Sara did the ring of fire. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Sara just skimmed her way on, and the guy had told Eric to put his arm around Sara to help hold her in. Well, Sara barely was big enough to be held in. When she got off, she was shaken up for about 20 minutes. But back she went to do all the other rides.

Eric and Sara are the two with their hands in the air. I am still in amazement that they did all these rides. And it wasnt like they went once, no it was over and over again from 2pm till 1030pm. And we had to force them to stop for 1/2 hour to eat.

Here Jada is riding with some friends from Gull Lake, Jalayna and Dayne. She had a lot of fun.

These horses where a highlight for Jada. We went on several times. At around 530pm, Jada went home with Grandma & Grandpa Welk to have her summer time by herself with them on the farm. She is growing up so fast. She went along and stayed for 4 days and didnt have one complaint. Good job Jada. (It was kind of nice to have her gone, that way we could stay till after dark with Eric & Sara and let them see and enjoy the rides in the dark. They especially enjoyed that)

Jada's Year End Program

Jada's Playschool did their year end program at the Special Care Home & Autumn House here in Gull Lake. They wore these cute matching outfits. Jada did the first song okay, but then needed me to sit beside her at the front. So I enjoyed a close up of the presentation. This is Abby, and Jada really likes her. They will be in the same class for school.
Singing more songs.
I was really impressed that she knew the songs and even half sang them during the performance.
Good Job Jada!!! Back to playschool next year!

Copper First Hair Cut

So this is Copper all shaggy in his before picture. It was getting hard for him to see, I'm sure. SInce I had a hard time seeing his eyes, he mustnt be able to see out either. Oh but he is so so cute!!!!

And this is the handsome boy we picked up!! They did such a great job. And they said he sat like an angel, and that his coat was in excellent condition. The blue bandana even came from the puppy salon.

His fur is growing really fast already. This was two weeks ago, and his hair is coming back in full force. I think he might be a high maintenance pup. Oh well. He is worth it.
